Well in Germany its allowed to buy any airgun with max. 7,5 J. Addionally, you can buy as well springs which will increase the airgun's power up to 16 J, or in this case up to 35J. As I said before, you may buy and own it, but in Germany its not allowed to customize the gun with it.
So, if you live in France, you won't have any problems buying the HW 100 in a German gun-store. Same with the spring, there is no problem buying it. But in France you should perhaps contact your local dealer for customizing the HW 100 with the 35 J spring.
I have no experience with the HW 100, but it's obviously hard to switch springs in normal airguns (take HW 35, 77, 97 for instance). Springs work with pressure, and if you are not familiar with changing springs, you may injure yourselve.
By the way, your chosen shop is a good one, also very popular among co2air.de members!
Good luck buying and customizing the HW 100!

Perhaps you get it directly per mail from the German dealer .
Ask the the Dealer. -
Hi,
i'm not really shure but according to what Ulrich Eichstädt mentioned here there is a 10 joule limit for airguns in france.
So u will own an illegal weapon and perhaps get in big trouble if the police finds you with a 35 joule HW100k...
Will be the best to read the french weapon-laws or to ask your lokal weapon-dealer wich is the acctual limit in france.

I know, but I don't think they sell the open version outside of Germany. It will cost several € and time for them to get the exportation license for this gun. If it is the 7,5J-version they don't need this exportation-license. Ok, it's inside EU, but they still need it...

I live in France too, the limit is 9.19 Joules for 18+, and if you want more power, you will have to pass a "License" or a "Permis de chasse" which is for hunting, and declare your weapon at a local police station (or prefecture)

You can order the Germand Version with 7.5J but then you give away 2.5 Joules. Or you buy the Version an bring it to your gunshop and tell them to set the gun to 9.9 Joule. But i don't know if that would be cheaper overall.
