Hi all!
I have been Google-ing old Röhm revolvers for an hour now, but can´t seem to figure this one out 100%.
Can anyone tell me what model this is? Thanks a bunch in advance! -
Hi!
So I have two Noris Twinnys and I want to mix things up a little visually by switching their barrels. One is black and the other is nickel.
But it seems like Rohm made it next to impossible to remove the barrel part from the gun? The nickel version is PTB 599 and the black one is the newer one made by Umarex I think, can´t remember the PTB as I´m not at home right now.I´ve tried a couple of different things
I managed to remove the two tiny black plugs that cover the screws on the front side of the barrel, but there are no screw heads down there.
I also tried to hammer out the plug/screw that goes through, but it does not move at all.Of course I understand that I will need a new screw to go through for both of the pistols, but I don´t think that will be a problem.
I guess I´m not supposed to do this, then... But does anyone have any idea if and how it is possible?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards, André

My grandfather got hold of a good old Luger during WW2. No one knows how he got it (maybe a good thing), and after he passed my father has it. I've shot it a few times with ammo from 1943, I just fell in love with it. It's so different, so beautiful in its own way.
My question is this. What is the best schreckschuss P08? I've been looking at ME, and they look pretty good.
Any suggestions? Please answer in english...Thanks in advance

PTB 599
If they still are produced it shouldn't be a problem? I was actually hoping the customer service would take this a bit more serious as I consider this a warranty-issue. -
Spoke with the importer today. They didn't see the problem with getting a new barrel. He said that if it was impossible to get, Umarex would probably have said so instead of passing the problem to them.
They had just received goods from Germany, so it will be at least three months until I will now the answer..Thanks for all input

I have a Noris Twinny derringer wich I have used quite a lot. Dog training, scaring away birds etc.
This winter the barrel cracked a little and I asked Umarex/Rohm if they could help me get a new barrel for the gun. They simply gave me the adress to the norwegian importer, and ignored the question.
I have send the importer a e-mail, but no reply yet.Does anyone know I can get a new barrel?

I'll just use this thread.
I am looking for a inexpensive holster for my HW 37 now and have come up with these alternatives.Uncle Mike's side kick holster that fits a 2" Rossi. I found this holster at Midway Norway, but I havent found a picture of it. But I know that Uncle Mike's is a quality brand.
Other ones ;
CorduraLeather I would really like something like this. Gotta love the leather.
Any thoughts?

Nice photos, guys!

I doubt it. I don't think it has the same structures on the sides. I don't know if it will keep in place. And even if you manage to remove the blockings in the barrel, the firing pin won't hit on the right place as the .22 is rimfire and the 9mm PAK is centerfire. It simply won't fire. And the frame of the SSW P22 is made by Umarex isn't it? Not by Walther / S&W.
Could be that I translated your post totally wrong. If so - I'm sorry.
-
.22's will fit in a 9mm PAK magazine with a little modification. But making a proper barrel for it will require the right tools, wich few people have. Therefore the laufsperre is a very good thing. In my opinion at least. Although it's no problem to make the first shot "a little sharp".

I translated your post with Google Translate... poorly.
About the magazine release. My P22 dropped the mag by just pressing the mag release a tiny bit. Not as much as 1 cm.
I can also add that it jammed if there was more than 4 rounds in the magazine. Every time I shot it with 7+1 it would jam until there was 3+1.
A poor choice for personal protection, but a very nice piece in a collection. =)Edit : The magazine was very unstable in the mag dwell as well. It would rattle a lot, and it was like it would fall out any time. It never did, tho.

Thanks again.
One more thing. Does it fit both HW88 and HW37 or are there two different versions? -
Thank you all for a looot of great tips!
I've been looking into some flashlights lately, just gotta find a big one with a bright and strong light.I have some other selfdefence-tools laying around the whole house. A lot of knives, machetes, a baseball bat, sharpened screwdriver... you name it. Real weapons too, but I don't look at them as an option. Would just send me straight to jail. I have licenses for my weapons, by the way.
And no, I'm not really paranoid. But there has been a lot of break-ins and burglaries lately by eastern european crime gangs. No offence anyone!
Last year several people were nearly killed during these break-ins. So I wanna be prepared. -
Yes, the muzzle screw.
Thanks for the info!
