hi,

ich glaube der unterschied ist das diese Lightstream HW 100 ihre regualtoren beheizen. und somit auf betriebstemperatur bringen. man sieht auf einigen fotos die batterien dafür stehen.
naja muß ja was bringen.

Ich finde es absolut legitim, wenn man sich auf Deutsch und Englisch beschränkt, denn das sind zwei Sprachen, die die meisten verstehen (ja, kaum zu glauben aber wahr - viele Menschen sprechen z.T. deutsch oder haben es gelernt, obwohl man es kaum von ihnen erwartet).

Ich finde es schon etwas daneben, statt stolz drauf zu sein, dass man Teil einer wachsenden und internationalen Community ist, andere dafür ankackt.

Ausländer mögen die Deutschen halt nicht so gerne. Vor allem nciht die Deutschen, die nur mit Mühe ihre eigene Muttersprache sprechen ....

Hi Emi! Nice to see that your group of 100m shooters is growing. I'm very interested in distance shooting and followed the threads on the yellow forum, years ago, where Harry Fuller from Australia had many discussions especialy with some british guys. Noone could believe his groups shot at 100m and beyond. I hope 100 airgun shooting will become an official discipline. I must try my 16J Anschütz on that range but I think .22 is much better for that. But we'll see. Go on with your good work.

Hi All,

Some of you asked me what the differences between the HW100 and the Lightstream HW are.

The differences are:

1. the barrel
this is replaced for a Lothar Walter polygon barrel in .22 600 mm long
just make a copy of the HW barrel bud make the edge on the back where the pellet enters the barrel 0.5 mm larger so the pellet can enter the barrel easier

2. Fixing the barrel in the breech block
For this there are 2 extra grubscrew’s m4 drilled in to the breech , the location of these screw’s is on top trough the dove tale 10 and 20 mm in front of the center of the transfer port hole to clamp extra on the barrel

3. Loading probe
This is made 2,4 mm longer by drilling a 2 mm hole in front of the tip and soldering a brass extension tip on it what fits in the hole and is as thick as the loadingprobe it self and has a 2mm side that centers it in the probe

4. The barrelband
In the barrelband there are 4 grub screw’s these clamp the barrelband on to the cylinder
Fixing the barrelband to the cylinder this is done because the stock of the HW100 has the
intension to flex and by doing that the barrelband moves the barrel of its center
all so remove the o-ring that is in top of the barrelband so that the barrel becomes
free floating

5. The regulator
The regulator is turnt in to increase the pressure set it 0,25 mm deeper

6. The restrictor
on the valve stem there is a small bras restrictor this is replaced by a one that is tapered
on one side so the air can flow easier trough the valve

After these modifications set the power of the HW100 to 965 fps (jsb exact 15.9 grn) this will give 20 shot by a 200 bar filling 965 fps is what works best for a polygon barrel in .22

The loading probe is modified because of the following reason. By making the probe longer it will seat the pellet further in to the barrel. The JSB pellet (tested as the best for this combination) has a deep skirt that wil sit on the edge of the barrel and the block where the transferport and valve are housed. A longer probe will avoid that.
