What do you mean by live shots? All this weapons fire 2mm blank fire cartridges without any bullets.

Hi,

yes,
now only a 2 mm blank knall berloque are in production, but the old berloque 1900-1950 years can shots a live ammo(not all). Now if you have a old model with a difference in diameter between the inside of the chamber and barrel there is a model for live ammo.
The new modell of berloque only for blank ammo ,can be explode if you use a 2mm blank with ball, because are in aluminium.gussI would like to know the power in joule or ft/lb of the 2mm a blank (knall)
ca.danke
-
pupino73: I have no idea abou the power. Normally even the actual sold Berloque pistols have chromed steel barrels with nothing in it to block a bullet. So if there is such an amunition around it should work. But as this is a forum on guns which are free to buy in Germany without a license I doubt that there is someone who can answer your question. In any case there should not so much power in it as there is no powder in the cartidges.

Hello Pupino
In the comparison to the Umarex champion (9mm bang) had the Berloque a equivalent good signal firing. In the Berloque firing cups do not fit however the normal 15 mm of signal stars! Could propellant have helped?

Hello Pupino,
from “dubious” sources of an on-line auction house, the energy could between 0,3 and 0,5 joules.
On the homepage, http://www.berloque.com/index.html I could not find resuming information.
Personally the energy is secondary, main thing it functions and is legal! Nevertheless a fine “weapon” is the Berloque.Regards

I doubt that here are people who can answer this question in the public as that kind of things are not allowed without a license in Germany. Maybe you should contact the mini guns collectors in the US which might be able to answer your questions. I posted their link somewhere in the top of this thread.

In the book "Cartridges of the World" I have found the data for the 2,7mm Kolibri:
Bulletweight 3 Grain
Muzzlevelocity 650-700 ft/sec
for the 3mm Kolibri it is nearly the same and for the 4,25mm Liliput Auto:
Bulletweight 12-15 Grain
Muzzlevelocity 800 ft/sec
For this caliber were jacketed and solid lead projektils in use.
For the 2mm were only lead bullets manufactured.
The energy must be lower than the 2,7mm Kolibri but it is true, that it can penetrate a daily newspaper. -
