I also prefer the P88.. a reliable and authentic looking SSW. The best money can buy at the moment.
PS: English is the leading language... Not "Deutch". Better get used to it!

Yes I know my friend. Umarex is not as good as I expected.
I can read German just fine... just can't write it that well
I know Erma and Röhm are of better quality but the Umarex models are just better looking In my opinion and best of all... they have a genuine counterpart.
I wish everybody a great new years eve!
Hi gang! (please feel free to reply in Geman)
The Double Action of my P88 doesn't work like it should. From the 10 times I try firing Double Action only 3~4 blanks ignite.
I compared the position of the cock when shooting SA and DA. I think the problem is that the cock isn't pulled back far enough with DA to properly ignite the blank.
This can also be concluded after looking at the blank...only a very small dent when shooting DA and a nice deep dent when shooting SA.
Are there more members who have experienced this?
Can this be fixed or is it a construction failure?
Thanks,
Mark
Walther P88 biss jetzt 200 schuss.... Perfect!
I had the same problem with the same gun..... I had to send it back to Umarex 3 times after I got a complete new one (this bullshit continued for over 3 months ). If you still have guarantee I would go back to the shop which sold you the Walther and demand a new one.... you don't want to go through the same shit I went through!
Nagelneues Walther P88 und jetzt shon schwierigkeiten! -UPDATE-
I hope they didn't sold you my old gun
After a lot of trouble my P88 now works perfectly... well over 150 shots and no problems what so ever. A Very reliable gun.
Hi,
You can just reply in German. I can read it but I can't write it so....
I was wondering if our blank guns would fire under water... are the plastic caps in the blanks water proof and will the cock receive enough velocity to properly ignite the blank?
Thanks!
Yes this is what I mean... are there some pics of people who've done this?
Iche meinte der Hahn... entschuldigung fur mein schlechtes Deutch!
My English is much much better *lol*... so for all you who understand English. I would like to know how many of you used a steel screw in the hammer? Were there any problems and which glue did you use?
If you'ed ask me I would drill a hole which is smaller in diamater than the screw. This way the screw would be locked thight in my opinion...
