  • The Taurus M82 is only a five-shooter, much smaller.

But the RG39 is practically nothing less, than an RG69 in .38 Special. So, basically most of the old Rohm gasrevolvers were also made as real firearms.

However, the Alfa revolvers are practically also RG clones, and made in real calibers from 4 mm Randzunder to .357 Magnum

  • The Charter Arms revolvers look somehow like the RG 39, the blank firer Röhm RG 8 was also available as a live round firing pistol called the Röhm RG 26 (.25 ACP cal.). Hinckley shot at Ronald Reagan with a .22 lr cal. Röhm RG 14 back in 1981. The RG 14 looks somehow like the 6 mm Flobert Röhm RG 76. Röhm had some issues in the U.S. during the late 60's due to their small guns being used as "saturday night specials" and the infringement with the GCA of 1968 due to their size.

Here you can take a look at the live round firing guns of Röhm:

  • Wtf..i didnt know about these models..especially the RG39! 8o

Röhm manufactured real firearms until the 80s, then they stopped production. The reason was an assassination attempt on US President Ronald Reagan with a Röhm Revolver (Röhm RG 14 cal. .22 lr) in the year 1981. There was an attempt for a new law...that would have made the gun manufacturer responsible for all illegal actions done with his guns....
