Mike how did you do that crom finish? Autosol doesnt help me...
Only using "Proxxon Polishing paste" and cheap "Polishing Attachement" for the Dremel...that´s all
-
"Only using "Proxxon Polishing paste"..its like Bud Spencers "
-
One more Autosol polish only with a piece of cloth. Not bad i think.
-
Autosol rult.
Daneben kann ich noch Cape Cod und für Messing das „alte“ Sidol in der kleinen grünen Flasche empfehlen.
-
Ich auch.

Polish simply everything - and You've done a good Job.

Eigentlich hatten diese Griffe keine Schrauben im Holz. Nimm besser Griffe ohne Schrauben, wenn es die gibt.

When i polished the parts, i experienced that you sandpapering the nickel surface the most tinyest movement on the original surface creates a purple-orange hue. Its ok when you want to di a Chiappa style paintjob..but..i didnt want it. Fortunately very little areas(not so visible from distance) but i have to be vigilant.

Guys how the hell should i fix this side of the grip..i only got 2 screw.
-
The grips are totally not fit on the grips place
-
You´ll need the clamp. take a look at the plastic grip.
-
So i need to destroy the plastic grip? Unfortunatelly the opposite side what i can fix with screws also not a good work. I drive the screws deep as i can and the grip fall off. Pricey but not a good job.
-
You have to clue the screws in, it´s the best solution and to get the clamp there is no need to destroy anything, just screw it out...
-
If i screw them on the "back" side and its easily fall of, after 3 screw..the original grip inlay glued not only fixed with screws.
-
But..i did the hammer job and its super nice. Sounds feel, and look also.
