I'm damn sure that you can't repair this that easiely. Re-soldering and especially the flux will f**k up the blueing.
Weihrauch has a top notch Service and I think they will fix that, no doubt.

Hartlöten ist mir bekannt, das habe ich im Zuge meiner Ausbildung auch grundlagenmäßig gelernt, ebenso wie einfache Schweißarbeiten. Daß Hartlöten aber ähnlich stabil sein kann wie ne Schweißnaht, das ist mir bisher nicht bekannt.
Wieder was gelernt...Dann sieht es tatsächlich so aus, daß an der Stelle zu wenig Lot verwendet wurde oder es nicht richtig in die Spalten reingelaufen ist. Hab gestern mal gekuckt - das Gehäuse meines Diana 240 ist an der Stelle aus einem Stück.

Maybe they could replace the whole cylinder, but why bother with that.? Just send the customer a new rifle and send the crappy one back to the factory. That should be the way to do it I think, but we will see what happens... :^)

Yes, you should be proud. Besides old feinwerkbau springers, Weihrauch is my favorite.
Especially HW30S, I have had six of them over the years. My latest one is fitted with Vortek PG2 tuning kit, and it is a fantastic shooter.. :^)A bit OT, but here is my HW30S, proper build one that do not split in half... ;^)

I like those small HW30's too! Especially the ones that are correctly soldered
Some of my shooting buddies have them, except me. I've got a 35 instead and an old Feinwerkbau springer you mentioned I love it so much! -
