Hallo, :^)
Nice photos, nice little test. However, I can not understand the "In Her Majesty's Service" label from the manufacturer's advertisement. James Bond used a PPK, not a PP in most movies, and he uses a PPK .380 ACP in the Skyfall also.

Well, Umarex has cheesy advertisements and so is the Walther PP. I absolutely can't stand that hideous "barrel" but it's not just the barrel...
I really would like to see a new Walther PPK with good quality in 9mmPA. Forget the PP. -

It would be soooo easy to redesign the RG88 externally to a PPK... -
I agree, but in the same time there is alot of good quality copies of the Walther PPK, for example Erma EGP 75S, Röhm RG800/100, Erma EGP790 (9mm P.A.K), but of course they are all in the "gebraucht" market and not new.
I like the Walther PP, and there is only one made copy...by Umarex. The gun has not the quality and a horrific barrel, but thats a model i would like to see in high quality, and it is in 9mmP.A.K already. The gun itself already exits too. Umarex could transform the PP to a high quality gun if they only did a "total makeover" of it. More steelparts, hammer, breech, triggerbars etc... with a working slide catch and a safety like on the RG800. They have the potential and tools to do it,they even have the Walther logo, but they dont do it and i think they never will.
Even if the price would be higher i think people would buy it, i sure would. Look at the PK380, it have a high price but people still buy it.

Oh Lord! I would die for a decent PPK in 9mm. But yeah, the Umarex ads are garbage. "Oh new Bond Movie? Let's take the PP in 9mm and the PPK/S CO2 gun and add a sloagan to it!" Genius... -
Lange gesucht ...........914 graviert:

Anbei mal zwei Bilder meines...

-
Na dann will ich auch mal nen Versuch starten :^)

Hi ,
tolles Bild, gut in Szene gesetzt.
