Yes it’s true. ABS and PLA are both thermoplastics, but both have different heat bed temperature (ABS is 80 ˚C and PLA is ±50-60˚C). Compared to ABS, PLA demonstrates much less part warping. For an engineer like me, I prefer ABS filament because of its strength, flexibility, machinability, and high impact resistance. If you want to build mechanical parts, ABS is the perfect material.
