ganz nach dem Motto: aus neu mach alt - hier der vollständge Bericht zu
der "Verschönerung" meiner Yunker:
Zunächst das Urmodell:
Viel zu neu und "anständig" ...
Patinierung der Metallteile: Mittels Schleifpapier ( Körnung 400, 600) und Polierpaste.
Holzteie bestellen, anpassen ( falls nötig, wie in meinem Fall ) und montieren bzw. die schwarzen Kunststoffteile vorher demontieren.
An der vorderen Seite des unteren Handschutzes mußte für die Montage etwas vom Holz entfernt werden:
Der Schaft wird durch einen Stahlstift gehalten, der gleichzeitig als Teil des Schwenkscharniers fungiert. Man muß das Gehäuse öffnen und ihn mittels geeignetem Werkzeug von unten herausschlagen um den Schaft abnehmen zu können.
Neuer Schaft dran, Stift rein, fertig.
Das Griffstück wird von einer langen Schraube fixiert, der Austausch dauert nur Sekunden (vorausgesetzt man hält die Mutter innen fest... !)
Für die Montage der Handschutzteile muß das Gewehr weitgehend in seine Haupbestandteile zerlegt werden ( field strip ). Gehäusedeckel abnehmen, Feder und "Verschlußträger" entfernen,Hebel rechts an der Visiereinrichtung raufdrehen und den oberen Handschutz mt Gasrohr abnehmen. Nun noch den kleinen Hebel an der vorderen Handschutz-Halterung nach oben drehen und das Teil löst sich.
Und weil der "Verschluß"(-träger) gerade ausgebaut ist, wird er gleich poliert.
